FAQ

FAQ

A photocopy proves nothing: anyone can make a photocopy. A certified copy is notarised by an official UK notary public who affixes their stamp and signature attesting that the copy is faithful to the original. Recognised by banks, consulates, administrations, employers.

Almost any official document: university diplomas, UK birth/marriage certificates, passport, driving licence, bills, bank statements, company articles, etc. For very specific documents, verify by email before ordering.

£95 price covers 1 copy. Additional copies: £30 each IF ordered together. More economical to order everything at once (e.g., 3 copies = £155 vs £285 separately). Anticipating your needs is recommended.

In the UK: universally recognised. Abroad: generally recognised but depending on country and administration, an additional apostille may be requested. If you know the copy will leave the UK, better to order Apostille in addition (+£140 same order).

The notary may refuse a document too damaged or unreadable. At order time, send me a photo of the document: I confirm feasibility before billing. For old documents in poor condition, I can redirect to General Register Office search (separate service).
