Your questions, our answers.
No. FrancoLegal is a documentary services and administrative coordination firm. We do not provide reserved legal activities under the Legal Services Act 2007 (probate, contentious representation, immigration advice without IAA accreditation). For these activities, we refer to regulated partners. This transparency protects you.
Our prices start at £95 (certified copy) and go up to £895 (complex corporate Africa-related procedures). Each quote is broken down in two lines: (1) the price of our service, (2) third-party costs (FCDO, embassies, translation, DHL) charged at actual cost without hidden mark-up. You know exactly where every pound goes.
It depends on the service. A standard apostille takes 15 to 20 working days. A Pack Afrique (Hague Convention countries) takes 3 to 4 weeks. A non-Hague Pack Afrique takes 5 to 7 weeks. A UK Will takes 10 to 15 days. For urgencies, we offer Express services (apostille within 48 hours, Pack Afrique within 5 to 8 days). The exact turnaround is guaranteed in your engagement letter.
Yes — that's the heart of our work. All documents are received at our professional London address, processed under strict confidentiality protocols, and returned via tracked secure mail (Royal Mail Special Delivery within the UK, DHL International abroad). Our Professional Indemnity Insurance covers any errors, and our engagement letter spells out our commitments and your remedies.
For Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Chad, Gabon, Madagascar and other non-signatory countries, we offer the non-Hague Pack Afrique, which includes the FCDO apostille, consular legalisation at the destination country's embassy, certified translation if needed, and DHL International shipping. Turnaround: 5 to 7 weeks. From £625.
For standardised services (apostille, certified copy, legalisation only), direct payment by card via secure Stripe checkout. For personalised services (Will, LPA, Pack Afrique, Corporate), a detailed quote followed by payment upon engagement letter signature. No work begins before payment is received — protecting both parties.
