Document requirements check
Before you pay for formalities, we check the document, destination and receiving authority to identify what still needs to be confirmed.
Why this step exists
Most files that fail are not badly executed — they are wrongly routed from the outset. A document sent to the FCDO when certification was needed first, a power of attorney drafted in the UK when the receiving authority requires its own form, an unnecessary embassy step because the country is a Hague signatory. Each of these costs weeks and non-refundable fees.
What we check
The exact nature of your document and the authority that issued it. The destination country and its status under the Hague Convention. The body that will receive the document — a notary, a land registry and an employer do not require the same thing. And any translation requirements.
What you receive
The exact chain, step by step, with each authority’s official fee and a realistic timeline. If your file does not require our services, we tell you.
